A Bright Spot in the Dry and Hot

The dry season did not hinder the Palawan cherries to bloom. Though they are not that profuse as the previous year, some trees in Manila Seedling Bank did manage to bring out their floral displays. Check them out while they are still in flower.

Is the fruit similar to bing or other cherry fruit? Edible?

its actually a legume. fruits are mere encasements of the seeds.
