An Orchid Calendar for FREE!

Urban Orchids calendar
Art Post Asia printed a dozen of my sketches into a calendar for 2013.  They did not print much, only a few to serve as corporate giveaway.  Not even sure if it was sold to the public.  So you could say it is a limited edition, hehehe.

But I got a few copies and I am giving away one as prize for a small contest for Philippine followers of my blog. Just give me a unique christmas greeting as comment to this post. I will choose the most creative. On Christmas I will announce who won and I will LBC the calendar to anywhere you are (in the Philippines).  Goodluck and happy orchid-Christmas!

To borrow from the lyrics of a song by Gordon and Revel:

To our beautiful Philippine Orchid blooms... "For only once in every life someone just like you appears, is there any greater thrill, no never in a million, never in a million years."

Merry Christmas Patrick.

When two friends understand each other totally, the words are soft and strong like an orchid's perfume..

Merry Christmas and a Happy New year too Patrick!

I like your drawings Pat. You can just send me a set of your drawings in e-file which may be a good screensaver. :-)

Beautiful drawings are a reflection of a focused attention to details;

precious moments spent not wasted;

plus talent, diligence and inspiration to finish them with fulfillment.

Continue to pursue, do and share what you like and you will be rewarded with more of your favorite things.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and all your followers in your blog!

Hi. I came upon your 'Lipote' blog posts while looking for web articles on native Phil fruit trees. I then stumbled on your orchid calendar post and thought it looked really neat. So I managed to compose a greeting to enter your mini-contest. It's a bit generic though. Hope you'll like it anyway.
Here goes...

Star
Always on top
Gentle light when the moon is out
Tedious this journey might be, your sweet greeting is reassuring
Had it not been for your distant presence, great gifts of wise men would have been for nothing
Family

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

Hi to everyone and belated merry christmas. Thanks for entering my mini contest. I chose the winner because the greeting had orchid in it, which was what I asked for. So congratulations to Lydia Robledo. Please email me your address and will LBC the calendar to you. Hope you will enjoy it.

There's an Orchidarium being prepared at NAPW, just beside the WRC. Maybe you can help them in choosing plants to be used and share some of your collection. BTW, I think it is the PAWB-WRD whose in charged of it not NAPW so the ones maintaining it might be the animal caretakers of WRC. I hope you can visit it soon.

Regards,
Nico
